A 6-Week Continuing Education Experience
with Dr. Marcia McFee and the Worship Design Studio

Greetings, friends. Marcia McFee here–long-time worship educator and leader, professor of worship, author, and teacher/consultant to many churches.
As a resource person, I have seen the request for help from churches increase dramatically throughout this pandemic. The number of inquiries for help with online/hybrid worship has grown to a point that I needed to address this in a way that can reach a lot of people.
Twice a year I offer a series called “Reboot Your Worship” that consists of 6 webinars over 6 weeks to people who want to improve their worship. I’ve decided to refocus the content to deal directly with the extraordinary needs right now in this unprecedented time–“Reboot Your Worship: Pandemic Edition” and it starts September 20.
The subjects are the same but I will specifically look at them with pandemic protocols in mind. Here are the five things that I teach in “Reboot” that help churches improve right away… and also the special “angle” for these times:
Educational Topics Included in Reboot
Intentional Communal Spiritual Journeys – How do we help people feel they are part of a community even when distanced? How do we know what formats are right for our context?
Congregational Participation – How do we keep people engaged in our online formats and how do we stay participational when music-making and moving around is limited in adapted in-person worship?
Sensory-Rich Communication – How do we improve our skill sets when we are more dependent on technology for communication?
Deeply Spiritual Leadership – How do we connect through a screen or from afar? How do we offer the deep spirituality we need to sustain us in this time? And how do we do that as leaders when we ourselves are burned out?
Improving Flow, Transitions and Energy – What are the best ways to stay “in the moment” when technology creates stilted moments and technical difficulties?
We usually offer this to smaller regional bodies, but I am expanding my offering of help for doing worship in these times to whole regional areas who want to give access to any and all their churches for one flat fee. And I am keeping that fee a fraction of what I usually charge for a one-day workshop in person so that this experience is accessible and affordable for regional bodies.
I know this offering will help small local churches and I really want to help.

For a $1000 one-time fee, all the churches in a regional area (and anyone in those churches) will have the opportunity to:
- Receive an e-mail every Sunday for 6 weeks with a video introduction to the subject
- Join a live teaching webinar on the subject on Tuesday (or watch the recording whenever)
- Access written and video digital materials that further the learning if they so choose
- Become part of the Worship Design Studio free Reboot Group to connect with other churches and access a lot of other free material on our website
- Pastors and staff may receive CEU’s if they need them for completion of the course (they complete a survey so we can make sure they did the course)
